Lily Moon Sustainability Lodge

Primal Echo is fueled by an insatiable commitment to create a better world. At the heart of that ongoing imperative is our pledge to contribute 1% from every product sale to this emerging non–profit fund. This fund is being dedicated to the establishment of Lily Moon Sustainability Lodge.
 
Lily Moon Lodge is a rural development project in Costa Rica that will be a model of sustainability, equity and self–sufficiency. It’s a co–creative non–profit project that will benefit orphans, at–risk kids and indigenous, rural and urban artisans and organic farmers––and their children.  The project will be built in Costa Rica, and Lily Moon will  serve our supply partners worldwide.

In order to develop Lily Moon, Primal Echo is seeking to identify a territory in the Pérez Zeledón region of Costa Rica, home to a receptive, sustainably–minded community and a biological corridor that we seek to protect and enhance.

Our goal will be to protect the land in perpetuity from further development and to ensure that Lily Moon will belong to the people of Pérez Zeledón. To this end, we will establish a Costa Rican non–profit branch of Lily Moon Sustainability Lodge, called Lirio Luna: Albergue de Sostenibilidad. Its administrative office will rest in the US.

Through the nonprofit, we plan to acquire 100–acres of land with water access and/or rights. Twenty-five acres of this land would be sustainably developed—some o f this land would be organically farmed and populated with organic fruit trees, organic vegetables and herbs and a small parcel of organic coffee for demonstration and educational purposes.
